The Mission
The CMT supports the development of best practices in marketing strategy, research and customer insight that enables students, faculty and business professionals to implement innovative and actionable marketing programs. The CMT provides consulting, education and research for business partners and academia to deliver digital marketing, social media, data analytics and sustainable marketing strategies that shape our connected world.
Research
The CMT supports the Bentley academic community as well as corporate partners and clients to explore the most engaging marketing questions we are facing today. Annually the CMT hosts more than 250 focus groups and over 150 e-surveys targeting groups from 1,000 to over 100,000 respondents. Our client and project list span the worlds of consumer goods, retail, finance, healthcare, technology, government, healthcare and education. Marketing analytics, primary and secondary research, digital marketing and social media tools are used to develop critical insights into consumer, industry and organizational behavior. CMT research impacts major product launches, sales and marketing strategy pre and post purchase planning, and return-on-investment decisions
Teaching
The CMT is an extraordinary teaching resource that enables our faculty to provide students with hands-on experience with a broad range of new and evolving technological tools for marketing. Marketing faculty at Bentley draw on the CMT’s rich resources to teach a highly innovative curriculum. Bentley's integrated business course and many marketing courses and corporate immersion projects use the high tech, marketing specific capabilities of the CMT.
Consulting
Corporate clients, marketing services and technology firms and market researchers at agencies in the US and abroad benefit from collaborations and strategic consulting projects with the CMT.
